Forgive and Move On!

Has anyone ever, out of the blue, said some hateful things about you or your family? You wondered, “Where did that come from? Why are they targeting me? I have nothing against them.” It can be confusing and baffling when we are suddenly attacked like this. But it's important to understand this is the devil’s strategy to distract us from our anointed mission in life. When we’re walking in God’s will and doing what He’s called us to do expect attacks from the enemy. Whether it’s a co-worker, so-called close friend or even another brother or sister in Christ, slander and backstabbing is going to happen. It’s part of spiritual warfare. We need to prepare for those attacks in the quiet times so that when turbulence begins we're not thrown off course, surprised and disoriented, and get in the flesh and lash out. The enemy will use people to say awful things about us in an attempt to bring confusion and strife. Once we focus on the drama and not God’s word we are now vulnerable! These distractions call easily lead to offense and unforgiveness. Offense and unforgivenss are traps, a snare if you will, and now we’re fair game for the devil. What's worse is we have allowed ourselves to be victimized twice. Once from the initial attack, and second when we took the bait and got over into offense! Don’t be that person!
Why are we shocked to hear that someone has said nasty things about us? Jesus says that’s part of the Christian walk. He said in Luke 21:16-17, “And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.”
When you became a Christian you became, what the military calls, a rich target to the enemy. In times of war it's considered a highly valuable and extremely important target that needs to be taken out or destroyed. Satan knows that if you live to your spiritual potential you can bring some serious damage to the kingdom of darkness. That's why he targets us. So get over yourself! It’s not about you anyways! It’s about winning the lost for Christ and changing lives for the Kingdom of God! Have you suffered to the point of death? Probably not. Yes, it hurts when family or friends slander our name or deeply hurts us. But there's good news! Jesus calls this type of drama, a blessing! No, this is not a typo. Even more He tells us to REJOICE when this happens! What, you may be saying. Now just hold on. Just pick up your jaw and read on. Jesus said in Luke 6:22-23 says, “Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.”
When people are nasty to us, we can rejoice because we have a major heavenly reward credited to our account! Instead of fighting back in the flesh, counter attack ugly with love. Here’s how Jesus says we should handle it. Matthew 5:44 says, “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you...” This is not a suggestion either! We are commanded to BLESS and PRAY for our enemies. When we are tempted to go against the word of God we have to say to ourselves, “Flesh shut up! I’m going to bless that person and pray that God gives them the desires of their heart!” At first this may seem difficult to do, but in order to remain in the blessing flow we must continue to walk in love! Remember the enemy’s job is to get us off the love walk so he can have access to our lives. Once he has access his only objective is to steal, kill and destroy our individual callings (see John 10:10). But Jesus’ objective is to give us abundant life and not strife!
Brothers and sisters, when offense comes we have a choice. We can either choose life, which includes forgiveness, reconciliation and God’s peace or we can choose death, which can lead to toxic relationships, bitterness, strife, disease (dis ease) and every evil work (James 3:16). Let's decide before hand to pass the test and choose life and move on. Remember, God don’t bless ugly!

The Kingdon Blessing is Yours! Grab it! Possess it Now!
This past year, we learned about seducing
spirits in the area of sexual immorality. We learned that thru the internet,
TV, pornography, music videos and pop culture, evil spirits lure young and old
alike into a world filled with vile images that glorify sexual perversion,
promiscuity, and every kind of deviant behavior known to mankind. Satan’s goal
is always the same – to steal, kill and destroy God’s creation (see John
10:10). His victims are brought under bondage and eventually experience
heartache, pain, destruction and even death. Seducing spirits don’t just
operate in the area of sexual immorality. The early church, the Galatians in
particular, experienced seducing spirits in another, but equally damaging way
and that is in the area of legalism. You see, the Galatians had been given the
gift of salvation, but drifted away from the faith when religious spirits or
“seducing spirits” infiltrated the church and began to teach the law (see Gal 3:1-5).
Instead of living by faith, the Galatians began to live by a set of rules (manmade
of course) that caused them to walk away from faith. Rules such as, no make-up,
no movies, no dancing, and no skirts above the knee, etc. became the order of
the day. In Gal 3 Paul asked the early church, “Oh foolish Galatians who hath
bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth…? The word bewitched means “to
be charmed with words.” These seducing spirits target the lonely, hurting,
ignorant, rebellious, easily offended and the spiritually weak. In the same way
the Galatians were led astray, today’s Christians can also be deceived and
abandon their faith in God and follow after the law. But the law was used as a
sign post – to direct us to Jesus and not away from Him. Let’s say you were
traveling to Sacramento and you got lost and began looking for directions. You
spot a sign-post that says Sacramento 20 miles ahead. You wouldn’t stop and
build your house at the sign-post because you believe you’ve arrived at your
destination. The sign-post was only a guide to direct you to where you’re
supposed to go. It does not mean that you have arrived in Sacramento. The law,
like the sign-posts only directs us. The law wasn’t meant to fulfill us because
nobody can keep the law. It’s there to direct you to Jesus Christ. However people
started camping out at the law. Once we step out of legalism and back into
faith we receive the blessings that were upon Abraham. We’re not fighting for
the blessing – the blessing is ours by inheritance. We receive it by faith. The
motivation of the enemy is to keep the believer ignorant of the blessing
assured us in Gal 3:9. It says… so then they which are of faith are blessed with
faithful Abraham. The blessing has only 1 agenda and that’s to elevate the
believer. Many people are fighting and struggling to get somewhere in life and
to make something happen, but the fight is over with. We must have faith in the
blessing and in what God has already appropriated for us. God gives us the
blessing to help us rise above life’s circumstances. You may be struggling in
your marriage, finances, relationships etc. but when you have faith in the
blessing, the blessing will elevate you above the problems. The Blessor (God)
brings the blessing upon our lives so that when people who know your story and
your history see you prospering because of your faith in the blessing, they’ll
start saying, “You are blessed!” They might even call you “lucky” when they see
the blessing operating in your life. Then you can stand up and testify! God
preached the blessing to Abraham and he had to trust God. We too must trust
God. Gal 3:11 says the just shall live by faith. So whatever we need from God
we get by faith, not by whining, pleading or begging, but by faith. Faith
separate’s those that say they are and those that actually are. You can tell
your faith by your walk. The Anointed One and His Anointing have redeemed us
from the curse being made a curse for us (Gal 3:13). Jesus was nailed to the
cross for us. Every sin, every curse was nailed on the cross so we would not
have to have it. Everything we do, past, present, and future was nailed to the
cross. We don’t have to carry it. But we do have to receive what Jesus did for
us by faith. Why? So that the blessing of Abraham might come on us. There was a
transferring of the blessing from the Jewish nation upon the Gentiles who would
receive this by faith so that the blessing that was upon Abraham might come up
on us thru Jesus Christ. God is the source of all blessing. There’s nothing
worse than being redeemed but still living like you haven’t been redeemed. It
would be awful to be on a sports team and go to practice and work out every day
and the coach wouldn’t allow you to play in 1 game. You’re working out just as
hard as everyone else on the team, but when it’s time to play, the coach keeps
you on the sidelines. All you can do is watch from the sidelines. If I’m a
player I want to play. If I’m a believer I want the blessing. I want to be an
example of the blessing of God. I want everybody to see it. There are family
members that need to see it. There are co-workers that need to see it. They
need to see the blessing, not religion. The blessing will speak for us. Some of
you are going thru things right now and it’s only because the blessing is about
to elevate you. Even though you’re doing the best you know to do, you’re still
going thru things. What you must do while going thru hardships is to stay in
faith. Don’t cast away your confidence. Remember a lack of faith in
the Blessing is what keeps a person on the sidelines of the promises of God.
Now, stand up and declare aloud…The blessing is upon me right now and it’s
growing every day in the Name of Jesus. Now you can start expecting something
to happen for you that hasn’t been happening. God isn’t finished with us.

"PURSUE, OVERTAKE AND RECOVER ALL"
I am literally talking about “Taking back what the devil has stolen from you”! In order to do this, you must STOP saying “NO” to God. I just heard YOU say, “well Preacher, I never SAY NO to God!” Let’s talk about it.
Joshua 1:8 says: This Book of the law (The Word of God) shall not depart from your mouth, but YOU shall meditate in it day and night, that YOU may observe to DO according to all that is written in it. For THEN [only then], YOU will make your way Prosperous and THEN you will have Good Success.
Listen to me, saying “No” to God is hearing what he tells you to do, BUT not doing what he says.
Meditating in His Word day and night is like a cow “chewing on the cud”. The cow digests what he eats and brings it back up again to chew on it. This goes on 24 hours a day! Meditate means imitating the cow- chewing what has been slightly chewed and swallowed, then bringing it up again to chew on. Meditate means to study the word. Just taking notes each Sunday in church won’t cause you to prosper. You must study, ponder, think on, daydream, deliberate, have in mind, reflect on. Speak the Word. Pray the Word. Faith comes by hearing the Word. Faith pleases God!
Let’s Pray: Father, in the name of Jesus, forgive me for saying “No” to you. I commit to hearing, reading, studying and obeying your Word. THEN, I will make my way prosperous and I shall have good success, according to your Word in Joshua 1:8 . I truly repent for blaming others for the lack of prosperity in my life. I am now committed to making my way prosperous. I will pursue, overtake and recover all! In the name of Jesus! Amen

Seven Deadly D’s
G 12 Meeting - April 27, 2011
The Spirit of Division
The Spirit of Division
The enemy uses the spirit of offense to bring division. *The enemy has custom designed attacks against us. Those who do not recognize the spirit of division allows the enemy to separate them from other families, friends and so forth. The enemy will also make sure that we are separated from those whom God has sent to help us. We have to work hard to fight off the spirit of division.
Luke 22:31
Joshua 1:6 -7
Ephesians 6:10-
James 1:8
Matthew 12:25
2.
The Devil is a Denouncer
The Devil is a Denouncer
The devil uses accusation to God’s people.
Job 1:6-8
Revelation 12:10
3.
The Devil is a Destroyer
The Devil is a Destroyer
1 Corinthians 10:1-10 (with an emphasis on verse 10, underlining the word destroy)
…nor complain, as some of them also complained, and were destroyed by the destroyer. One of the biggest issues we are facing today is lust. The enemy destroys dreams, hopes, finances, marriages etc.
John 10:10
1Corinthians 10:10 (KJV).
1Corinthians 10:10 (KJV).
4. Doubt
Doubt is the biggest enemy against the activation of faith. If one receives doubt, faith will be cancelled and if one receives faith, then doubt will be cancelled. One must speak life not death.*Doubt steals God’s blessings from one’s life. The solution is to stand on God’s Word.
Matthew 14:31
Matthew 21:21
Matthew 28:17
Matthew 11:23
Romans 14:23
5. Discouragement
The spirit of discouragement comes even when we are in the middle of accomplishing goals. When one is discouraged, everything seems to go down.
Joshua 1:6 -7 and also verse 9
Numbers 36:6-7
*Do not speak against the very person who is going to help you.
The person who can help you can also go away due to the spirit of discouragement.
A true shepherd forgives his people and prays for them.
The enemy can use your family to go against you.
*The enemy can also use people to tell you that you are not qualified or capable of doing something, and thus bringing discouragement.
6. Denial
The devil wars against us so we can backslide.
Peter would never picture himself denying the Lord, but the devil fought him hard.
Be bold against the devil and denounce him. If the enemy can get you to deny Christ, then you will compromise.
Matthew 26:34
2 Timothy 2:12
7. Deception
The devil uses the spirit of deception to deceive or destroy our lives. Some people do not even know that they have the spirit of deception, and therefore, they are deceived. It is the spirit of deception that a man is in love with another man or molesting children. Deceived people can claim that God said ordered them to do something while He (God) never said.
The devil uses the spirit of deception in last days.
2 Corinthians 11:14

OFFENSE: AN ENEMY AGAINST YOUR PROSPERITY
The one thing we all need to understand and admit is that we all are subject to becoming OFFENDED. OFFENDED IS NOT A GOOD WORD! OFFENSE IS NOT A HEALTHY STATE OF BEING.
The Word of God says: Great peace have they which love thy law (God’s Word!) and NOTHING shall offend them. Psalms 119:165 Those who LOVE YOUR INSTRUCTIONS have Great Peace and DO NOT STUMBLE!!!(NLT version). Peace means completeness, safety, soundness of mind, welfare, healthy, contentment, deliverance, prosperity (includes your financial wealth-YOUR MONEY) and GREAT….. PEACE!!
You have to make a choice. That choice is either to live in your offenses and STAY MISERABLE for the rest of your life, or to cast them away and walk free from offenses. YOU WERE NOT MADE TO CARRY OFFENSES!
CONFESS THIS WITH ME: I will release every area of bitterness and anger and unforgiveness. I release OFFENSE in my life, in Jesus Name. I have the strength, boldness and the power of God to let it go, let that woman go, let that girl go, let that businessman go, let that boss go, let that partner go, and let that friend go. I LET THEM GO NOW, IN JESUS NAME!
