Hello Partner!
It’s been awhile since we’ve had time to talk but I’m excited about what God is doing in our ministry. Recently, we reduced our television expenditures to concentrate on the completion of Destiny Ranch (www.destinyranch.org). However, we still have the potential to reach millions of people through television and the internet and we are reaching out to partners to sponsor local programming in their area.
The Lord has given me a special message to our congregation and PGIM partners in this time where many people are living in fear because of the current economic crisis. The opportunities to be blessed are still here; we just have to receive them.
God sometimes asks His people to go the extra mile so that He can supernaturally bless them. He asks them to beyond the ordinary so that we can receive the extraordinary. The extra mile commitment is so substantial that God can’t help but notice and bless you.
I know our country is going through some challenging economic times with layoffs and unemployment, but we are not of this world (John 17:16 ). We operate under a different kingdom system. Because of what we’re experiencing, God has spoken to me to encourage His people and to strengthen them so they will not miss opportunities to be blessed beyond what we can ask or think. God is asking that we leave our comfort zone, stretch ourselves, and go the extra mile so we can get our personal breakthrough in the areas we are believing for. Then we will see the miracle working power of God on our behalf!
Going the extra mile is not something new, God has asked His people to do it before. There are many examples in the Bible where people went the extra mile - even though it didn’t make sense in the natural - and God prospered them. In Genesis 24, Abraham sent his servant to find a daughter-in-law for his son, Isaac. His servant went to a well and prayed, “God the first woman you send to the well and offer me water will be Isaac’s new wife.” There were other women at the well but a young lady by the name of Rebecca came by and offered the servant not only a drink but went the extra mile and offered to water his camels. As a result, the servant gave Rebecca jewels, silver and gold and raiment, and he also gave her brother and mother precious things. The blessing flowed not only to Rebecca but also to her family because she went the extra mile. There are countless stories we can find in God’s word.
The bottom line is this: God asks us to go the 2nd mile not just to get something from us but to get something to us, His blessings!
As you pray about supporting our television ministry, giving into Destiny Ranch, or committing to a monthly partnership pledge, God may be asking you to go the extra mile. We need your help. For us to continue to be a blessing to countless people, we are asking our partners to go the extra mile. We believe God will provide $1,000,000 for the completion of Destiny Ranch (www.destinyranch.org) and allow us to expand our media outreach. We can’t run commercials for advertising dollars like the world does. We depend on our partners to make it happen. Will you stand with us? Any love gift is greatly appreciated.
Let’s pray: Father, thank you for our partners. We ask that You speak to their hearts what You would have them do to go the extra mile. I stand in agreement that they have 100 fold return on their giving. In Jesus name! Amen.
Partner, we must never consider what leaves our hand but our greater blessings and greater days ahead!
