CAST ALL YOUR CARES UPON “HIM”




1 Peter 5:6-7 says “Therefore humble yourselves [demote, lower yourselves in your own estimation] under the mighty hand {power} of God that in due time He may exalt you, CASTING the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares (continuously) for you AFFECTIONATELY and cares about you WATCHFULLY (AMP.V).



Casting means that you throw away or reject the cares that the devil brings to you. Casting your cares upon Him requires HUMILITY. Humility admits that no one can care,( prize attend to, comfort, compensate, reward, rescue, sustain, provide for, protect, aid and support us) but God Almighty. He is our EVERYTHING... He is our Sustenance! When we “take care”, we are taking God’s position, for He careth for us….When we “take care” we are in a defeated state of mind. Care means to be divided, cut into pieces, split in factions, DISTRACTED, opposite of being WHOLE, afflicted with worries…the devil uses “taking care” to divide and conquer THE BODY OF CHRIST!

Let’s pray: Father, in the name of Jesus,” forgive me for taking care: I cast all of my cares upon YOU because you careth for me.” Now, receive His Forgiveness! Praise God
