The Kingdon Blessing is Yours! Grab it! Possess it Now!

This past year, we learned about seducing spirits in the area of sexual immorality. We learned that thru the internet, TV, pornography, music videos and pop culture, evil spirits lure young and old alike into a world filled with vile images that glorify sexual perversion, promiscuity, and every kind of deviant behavior known to mankind. Satan’s goal is always the same – to steal, kill and destroy God’s creation (see John 10:10). His victims are brought under bondage and eventually experience heartache, pain, destruction and even death. Seducing spirits don’t just operate in the area of sexual immorality. The early church, the Galatians in particular, experienced seducing spirits in another, but equally damaging way and that is in the area of legalism. You see, the Galatians had been given the gift of salvation, but drifted away from the faith when religious spirits or “seducing spirits” infiltrated the church and began to teach the law (see Gal 3:1-5). Instead of living by faith, the Galatians began to live by a set of rules (manmade of course) that caused them to walk away from faith. Rules such as, no make-up, no movies, no dancing, and no skirts above the knee, etc. became the order of the day. In Gal 3 Paul asked the early church, “Oh foolish Galatians who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth…? The word bewitched means “to be charmed with words.” These seducing spirits target the lonely, hurting, ignorant, rebellious, easily offended and the spiritually weak. In the same way the Galatians were led astray, today’s Christians can also be deceived and abandon their faith in God and follow after the law. But the law was used as a sign post – to direct us to Jesus and not away from Him. Let’s say you were traveling to Sacramento and you got lost and began looking for directions. You spot a sign-post that says Sacramento 20 miles ahead. You wouldn’t stop and build your house at the sign-post because you believe you’ve arrived at your destination. The sign-post was only a guide to direct you to where you’re supposed to go. It does not mean that you have arrived in Sacramento. The law, like the sign-posts only directs us. The law wasn’t meant to fulfill us because nobody can keep the law. It’s there to direct you to Jesus Christ. However people started camping out at the law. Once we step out of legalism and back into faith we receive the blessings that were upon Abraham. We’re not fighting for the blessing – the blessing is ours by inheritance. We receive it by faith. The motivation of the enemy is to keep the believer ignorant of the blessing assured us in Gal 3:9. It says… so then they which are of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. The blessing has only 1 agenda and that’s to elevate the believer. Many people are fighting and struggling to get somewhere in life and to make something happen, but the fight is over with. We must have faith in the blessing and in what God has already appropriated for us. God gives us the blessing to help us rise above life’s circumstances. You may be struggling in your marriage, finances, relationships etc. but when you have faith in the blessing, the blessing will elevate you above the problems. The Blessor (God) brings the blessing upon our lives so that when people who know your story and your history see you prospering because of your faith in the blessing, they’ll start saying, “You are blessed!” They might even call you “lucky” when they see the blessing operating in your life. Then you can stand up and testify! God preached the blessing to Abraham and he had to trust God. We too must trust God. Gal 3:11 says the just shall live by faith. So whatever we need from God we get by faith, not by whining, pleading or begging, but by faith. Faith separate’s those that say they are and those that actually are. You can tell your faith by your walk. The Anointed One and His Anointing have redeemed us from the curse being made a curse for us (Gal 3:13). Jesus was nailed to the cross for us. Every sin, every curse was nailed on the cross so we would not have to have it. Everything we do, past, present, and future was nailed to the cross. We don’t have to carry it. But we do have to receive what Jesus did for us by faith. Why? So that the blessing of Abraham might come on us. There was a transferring of the blessing from the Jewish nation upon the Gentiles who would receive this by faith so that the blessing that was upon Abraham might come up on us thru Jesus Christ. God is the source of all blessing. There’s nothing worse than being redeemed but still living like you haven’t been redeemed. It would be awful to be on a sports team and go to practice and work out every day and the coach wouldn’t allow you to play in 1 game. You’re working out just as hard as everyone else on the team, but when it’s time to play, the coach keeps you on the sidelines. All you can do is watch from the sidelines. If I’m a player I want to play. If I’m a believer I want the blessing. I want to be an example of the blessing of God. I want everybody to see it. There are family members that need to see it. There are co-workers that need to see it. They need to see the blessing, not religion. The blessing will speak for us. Some of you are going thru things right now and it’s only because the blessing is about to elevate you. Even though you’re doing the best you know to do, you’re still going thru things. What you must do while going thru hardships is to stay in faith. Don’t cast away your confidence.  Remember a lack of faith in the Blessing is what keeps a person on the sidelines of the promises of God. Now, stand up and declare aloud…The blessing is upon me right now and it’s growing every day in the Name of Jesus. Now you can start expecting something to happen for you that hasn’t been happening. God isn’t finished with us.
